Winkler Development Corporation is a multi-generational family-owned and -operated real estate investment and development company. Our over 40-year history demonstrates our ability to think creatively about how to overcome challenges in a manner that both enhances project economic value and produces a positive community impact.

We have a diverse portfolio of real estate holdings, including industrial, office, data center, flex, land, retail, and apartment properties, primarily located in the Pacific Northwest.



Jordan Winkler

Prior to joining Winkler Development Corporation, Jordan was with the U.S. Department of State, where he worked both in Washington, DC and overseas. He has an AB from Brown University and a Masters in International Relations & International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

Julia Winkler

Prior to joining Winkler Development Corporation, Julia worked at real estate consultancy The Concord Group, Uber Technologies, and Goldman Sachs. Julia has an AB in Public Policy and American Institutions from Brown University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

In Memoriam – James H. Winkler (1950 – 2022)

An immigrant who moved to Portland at a young age, Jim founded his first Winkler company in 1978. An expert in real property acquisition, development, and rehabilitation, Jim is recognized for both his vision as a developer and his embrace of innovative development techniques. He was the recipient of several professional awards, including the Urban Land Institute Global Award for Excellence for his transformation of a former hospital in North Portland into Adidas Village, the Adidas America headquarters. He was deeply committed to the Portland community and served on a number of local boards, including the Oregon Health & Sciences University Foundation, Cedar Sinai Park and the Portland Art Museum, where he was a trustee for over 25 years.
